weird post (pacquiao angst)

I'm on the net right now because Pacquiao lost to Morales. Am uber-down by that. Arggghh!!! This is exactly the reason why TV networks (especially one that shall remain nameless) shouldn't do those over-the-top promotional things. It just raises the viewers expectations so much. I'm pretty sure that no tricycle driver in the Philippines would talk about anything else but this for the next two weeks. Heh, that's kind of funny.

And I have a weird question for my friendslist. Does any of you know anything about the World War I poet-soldiers from Britain? Specifically, Rupert Brooke, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon but other lesser known poets would be pretty cool too. I already have biographies and such, but I want know if anyone has any strong opinions about these poets? I know that Brooke has become infamous for not deserving to be the poster-boy of WWI poets because he didn't take part in any major fighting. Any dissenting opinions? So far, I've found Sassoon's descriptions of mutilated bodies pretty arresting, but I think I prefer Owen's poetry, uneven they may be.

This is for a paper, BTW. The one I'm successfully avoiding right now. Not to mention a paper about Philosophical fallacies that should be submitted TOMORROW AFTERNOON. Yep, avoiding very successfully.
