Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Blaine is around 5'7"-5'8", based around that he's an inch or so shorter than Kurt, with wide shoulders. He's not stocky, exactly, but he isn't ridiculously butch either.

2. How old is he? Sixteen or seventeen - I say seventeen because he seems to be a bit older than some of the other characters in the series.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? This entirely depends upon who he's around. If you're a person he knows well then he'll be more relaxed; he might slouch or cross his arms, generally being less tight. If you're an adult, someone he doesn't know or something he has a reason to dislike he'll be the picture of perfect posture; straight back, arms crossed in front of him, head held high.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? He's fit enough to do ridiculous dance routines in the middle of the GAP; we haven't been made aware of whether or not he plays a sport just yet, despite the fact that he's shown an interest in it.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Most of the time Blaine is quite graceful; this probably comes from his time as the frontman for the Dalton Academy Warblers. He walks without stumbling or looking uneasy and he doesn't seem to be particularly tense or clumsy.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? He has a traditional, 1950s look about him that some people might find particularly attractive; he's got gelled hair, curls hidden beneath it, and the posture and politeness to match this aura. Objectively, he is quite attractive - to both men and women. In my opinion, Blaine struggles to see himself as an attractive person; the years of homophobic bullying has probably got to him and he has admitted that his confidence is generally an act. It's unlikely that he'll really believe that he's attractive, especially with ungelled hair and without the protection of his uniform.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? slightly tanned, but clear.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. Canonly, we've only seen Blaine's hair when it's in it's "gelled" state; it's pressed down against his head and - well, the best way to describe it is "tame". It's almost the typical prep-boy cut. Without gel, though, it'd probably go ahead and be a mess of curls (almost an afro of curls).

9. What color are his eyes? Hazel.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Not really.

11. What are his chief tension centers? His shoulders and neck, and probably along his back as well.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? At the moment, the only clothes Blaine has worn is his uniform - almost like a suit. Considering the fact that he reads vogue and is able to discuss fashion with Kurt he's probably got some kind of fashionable wardrobe - he just doesn't get a chance to wear them.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Yes; the Dalton Uniform is like armour. It's a barrier between him and the bad things he ran away from, so obviously it's a comfort when he's wearing it.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? He's always in uniform.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Boxers.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Blaine's voice isn't hugely deep, but it's obvious that he's been through puberty and he's at a point where he isn't going to accidently hit awful pitches. It's smooth and, often, light; when he's upset, however, it's deeper, a little darker.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? He normally speaks quite gently, very even and calm. He does hesitate, however, when it comes to certain words - he is a perfectionist through and through and picking the right words for a given situation is important.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? He has a habit of putting emphasis on certain words a lot, but otherwise not really.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? As far as canon has given us, he's fluent in English. It's likely that he takes a second language, however.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? A mixture of both, I'd think. Blaine probably thinks things over a lot before he says them - but this is only when he has a chance to. When he's put on the spot and he doesn't have time to think things over he stumbles a little more because of the added pressure. If he can take a moment to step back and think his words over before he says them he will.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? As above, really? He's eloquent when he's given a few moments to consider his words, but when he's put on the spot things are a little harder for him.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? The classes at Dalton have been described as "a little harder" than other schools, so it's probable that Blaine is pretty intelligent. This is mostly book-smarts, though.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? This is dependant on the situation. He can sometimes be a little impulsive, not thinking things through properly (such as when he sang "When I Get You Alone" to Jeremiah in the GAP Store, and when he suggested Kurt confront Karofsky) but at other times he can think things through and deliberate on them a little more; like proposing the Warblers help him with his GAP Attack.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Although Blaine might wish to be - or think of himself as - a logical person he is, actually, more intuitive. The things he does are heavily influenced by his emotions and, sometimes, this can cloud his judgement and lead to disasters. He's idealistic, doing all that he can to think the best of everything and everyone, almost optimistic in his idea that things get better.

4. What kind of education has the character had? At the moment he's still in High School. Because of the fact that he's at an expensive, private school his education might be a little better than average.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Generally, Blaine seems to know a lot about music, fashion and related political issues. We havne't really learned about where his expertise/interests lie yet.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? He likes to present himself as an extroverted, 'friends with everyone' type of person, but behind that persona is an introvert that is denying himself.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Blaine is very even-tempered, very gentle in the way he treats people; even when face to face with a homophobic, self-denying bully he manages to be calm and laid-back. He doesn't really have mood swings but his cheerful, open nature might be hiding a more melancholy person behind the shield of happiness.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? His response to new people is that he should be polite, relaxed, but enthusiastic; Blaine is kind to new people, especially if he finds a reason to empathise with them. New situations are a little more daunting - if he can't find a comfort zone or a way to get some control he'll be nervous and unsure; he needs a little bit of control to feel comfortable.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? React.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Flight; he ran away from the bullies in his old school and he regrets it every day.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Blaine seems to have quite a relaxed sense of humour; he'll likely laugh at jokes, puns and soft pranks. Take it too far, though, and it might be more of a triggor and he'll not like it.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? Canon hasn't made us aware of any, so no.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? His bullying at his old school. It smothered who he was as a person before he transferred and it's made Blaine unable to be "himself"; he puts a great amount of stock in 'fitting in' and being 'part of a team' and he seems to have lost his individuality a little because of it. The bullying also made him feel like a scared child - that he had to run away to keep himself safe.

14. What does he fear? Bullies. Those bullies at his old school still haunt him - and though we don't know the extent of what he went through it's obviouly a lot if it caused him to transfer to an expensive private academy.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations? He wants to be himself, deep down, but at the moment fitting in and being safe is far more important to him. He wants to win Regionals too, please and thank you.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? He's really, really not as strong as he seems. The 'perfect boy' image is all a lie; it's a shield that stops him from being picked on and hurt as he makes his way through life.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Blaine's best friend is probably Kurt Hummel. They met when Kurt attempted to spy on Dalton's Glee club - the Warblers - but ended up confessing his problems to Blaine. After that first meeting the two became fast friends; they went to plays, dinners and to get coffee together and Blaine even came to Kurt's school to help him confront a bully. Their friendship only got deeper after Kurt transferred to Dalton Academy.

6. Does he have other close friends? Possibly Wes and David, but more canon would be needed. Blaine has also been befriending Kurt's former schoolmates; he gets coffee with Rachel and Mercedes, so obviously a friendship is developing there too.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? Blaine can make "friends" very easily; the problem is that he doesn't get majorly close to people easily. He can befriend someone, get to know them and, really, he seems to be the type of person that knows everyone in the school by name as well as their family/etc. Close friends are a different matter; he just doesn't have the confidence to let many people see who he is behind the image he portrays.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? He's single! He's never had a boyfriend, either.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Nope.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? His first crush was Jeremiah, a GAP store worker that he serenaded with a rendition of Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone." Now that Kurt has admitted that he has a crush on Blaine, however, Blaine seems to actually be considering the other boy for a love interest.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? 50% discount at the GAP. Just kidding. Blaine probably looks for someone he can be himself with - someone he can trust, someone he can really open up to and admit all his faults and problems and pains. Having someone that can sing, dance, have fun and get along with all his other friends would be an added bonus. Really, he just wants a sweet, kind, gentle boy who will love him despite his faults.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? He has no kids, or grandkids.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Not really - at the moment everyone seems to rather like Blaine, actually. Other Glee clubs - such as New Directions, Vocal Adrenaline, etc, are rivals purely because of his own involvement with the Warblers.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? 6. "Yup. I'm gay. 100% gay." Despite a brief moment where a drunken kiss lead him to believe he might be bisexual, Blaine is totally and completely gay.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? Sex isn't really a major factor in his ideal relationship. Sure, it'd be good if they could have a good, enjoyable sex life, but having a person he can bond with and love is far more important. He'd be comfortable entering a sexual relationship with a boy that he's been with for long enough; it's all about comfort levels and affection to Blaine.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Turn ons; it seems like Blaine has a thing for hair, and boys that are awkwardly adorable but also kind of hot when you take a step back and look at them. He doesn't like a person that makes a fool out of him, or makes him feel less than worthy of affection, however.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? I don't actually know Blaine's birthday, but a part of me wants to say Pices. "... A fractured personality that has so many sides and so many moods that they probably don't even understand themselves... Nobody is more kind, thoughtful and caring... Pisceans are at home in any kind of creative or caring career. Many can be found in teaching, nursing and the arts. Some find life hard and are often unhappy; many have to make tremendous sacrifices on behalf of others."

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? He seems to be the type of person that holds himself to the "don't judge a book by it's cover" ideal, not letting snap judgements control how he regards people. He hated the way that people labelled him and decided that because he was gay he wasn't worth knowing, so he would hate to do the same to someone else based on a single stereotype.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Blaine seems to be the type of persont hat would be tolerant and curious; his nature is that of a person who will accept others just as he desperately craves acceptance.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? I don't think he actually has any right now, casting my mind back over the canon.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? The fact that he was easily able to transfer to a private, expensive school when the bullying got too hard indicates that his family is well-off, financially.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? I'd imagine that Blaine's family has always been quite upper class and well off - perhaps why he so easily adopts the image of a polite, respectable young gentleman around strangers.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? (I'll fill this in if/when we get canon information!)

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? Music, probably, and going out places with his friends. I can see Blaine splashing the cash to buy the people he loves presents and dinners and drinks and coffees if he thought it'd make them happy.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? He's a student. He's fine with that.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? He's a part of his school's Glee club - the Warblers - indicating his love for music. Other than that it seems that he spends his free time with his friends.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? He talks with his mouth full, ugh. But, no, Blaine doesn't seem like the type to avoid meals - he seemed to quite enjoy eating his food while he and his friends were at the coffee house, and he's never indicated any reason to skip meals.
