today was the upstate 8 leadership conference with kelly for student council. im so happy that stephanie wasnt able to go and i got the opportunity. it started off with a speaker, then we broke off into groups and got to talk about spirit. surprisingly my old poms coach ran it and she moved to larkin so i havent seen her in a while. so we got to sit and talk with kids from larkin, elgin, bartlett, and waubonsie. it was basically an hour and a half of me and kelly talking about neuqua because they kept asking us what we had. after that group i wrote on my paper....
i dont think anyone from neuqua realizes how lucky we are that we got to even have simple stuff like a mechanical bull during homecoming week. you have no idea how jealous the other schools are.
but anyways, i ended up getting a free book "7 habits of highly effective teens" which i actually wanted to buy.
orchesis is going fine.
