Spring, I am learning, is mostly damp.

Pez, you're a wonder, thank you so much! :D It does fit in the microwave and it's brilliant.

(She sent me a little rice-cooker that goes in the microwave! We've got really elderly and erratic electric hotplates for cooking on, and rice tends to come out both gooey and crispy when cooked on them. Yes, both at once. We had rice from the rice-cooker with lunch and oh wow, so much better. So much! The fact that it's kind of smaller and easier to put away than a regular rice cooker for the same sort of amount of rice is also a plus, given the size of our kitchen.* :) )

* Note: if you actually saw our kitchen you'd hate me forever for saying this. It's a big room! It just... there are no flat surfaces. Aagh.

Now photos:

World just looks damp and grey out the window today but it was kind of amazing down by the lake. Photos don't really do justice but I took them anyway.

And somewhere under here is the path by the river, but the ducks have claimed it. We took the long way around.

So yeah, in case you wondered what spring looked like in Sweden! *g*
