Hello again!

Wow its sure been awhile, and a lot has happened in the past...however long its been. This first post will be about Europe.

Well, I went to Europe... visited London, Paris, Munich as well as some small German towns (Rotterdam, Cologne, etc), and also Rome. I'm not going to go into details of everything... but I'll give you guys an overall impression of each place I visisted

London - Awesome, the people are friendly (what an idea!) to americans, a good subway system, and things are in English (never take that for granted). It is VERY expensive to live there however...and the food could be better. The girls in London are not at all ugly. I'd say about average. The sites in London were fantastic. I enjoyed the Tower of London (which was tiny compared to the surrounding buildings), the London Bridge which we crossed (very cool), and some more modern buildings designed by some amazing architects.

Paris - Dirty, with the rudest people I've ever met. Our tour guide got in a fight with a drunk Parisian. I met one friendly person in Paris, and he was from Afghanistan. The prices are quite reasonable though, I actually bought some stuff there, the shops were nice. The food was very good in Paris I have to admit... and contrary to popular belief the girls are not (for the most part) hairy.

Rotterdam - PHENEMONAL! The best part of the trip... the beer was fantastic! and cheap! Two liters for 3.50 Euros? TWO LITERS? I stayed up late every night with Allyson talking to this guy and his wife that run the hotel. I won money playing Brian in chess when i was drunk, and even beat our tour guide! We visited areas untouched by the Allied bombings of World War Two, and go to see how early 20th century Germany looked, it was the coolest city i've ever seen in my life. And very tiny. And oh dear, Germany girls... *melts* so...so beautiful.

Munich - Overall, I was un-impressed by Munich, it was just like New York, except everything was in German. There were a great many high-end stores there, such as Gucci, Louie Vouton (sp), and such. The food was exceptional, but the service was lousy. The sites in Munich were not as great as in the othercities.. but the girls were better once again...go germany! Oh...and me and my friends tried Absinth in Munich... I'll leave it at that :-)

Rome - Dissapointing... this was the most disgustingly dirty city I've ever been in...ever! The toilets were a hole in the ground, enough said. The cool part however was that the city was a mix of modern and ancient, with massive Roman buildings throughout. The sites were amazing... and would have been better had they not been surrounded by a disgusting city. The men in Rome were pigs as well. my suggestion: if you a girl (or even a guy... dont wear anything provocative in Rome, you'll start a fan club that wont leave you alone. Oh, and as you might suspect, the food in Rome was fantastic.

I had the time of my life in Rome, and I couldn't have had it without the coolest people ever that were with me! Thank you Caroline, Julia, Hannah, JP, Davin, Brian, and Layne!
