(no subject)
I have been rotten about updating LJ lately. My new addictions are Twitter and Tumblr--they're so much fun, and a little less involved so they're easier to play with when I'm at work. Also heaps of Google Reader.
Things I have been doing lately: working, cooking, other fun little adventures!
The job is pretty mundane (data entry woo woo) but the hours aren't bad (5.5/day, 4/wk) and my boss is chill and it's quiet and I just keep my Gmail open and listen to my iPod and Tweet/Tumble when things get too boring. The walk to and from is nice, too, when it's not crappy out like it has been the past day or so!
Have I mentioned how grocery/farmers' market crazy I've gotten? There's a goat cheese guy at the Copley Square farmers' market on the way to/from work, so I tried this goat cheese lunch set he's got. Didn't use to like goat cheese--do now. I also got some potted herbs, and they're chilling on my windowsill--rosemary, cilantro, and lavender. They're nice to have around!
We went to the beach on Monday for the day off and I got incredibly sunburnt. My back looks like terra cotta, and I have a hilarious tan line that makes me look like I'm a pink person wearing white underwear at all times. It'll eventually mellow out into a nice light brown, though, and tan fat is better than white fat...
I've got enough mileage miles to go on a trip within the 48 states and I'm thinking of taking advantage of that at some point this summer. Contenders: Chicago, Philly, and California (SF/Sac'to). Decisions, decisions! Luxurious decisions!
