It's Pi Day! Awesome. I'm going to try and recount every awesome thing I've done since last post by day...
TUESDAY
We explored downtown PDX: Powell's, No Fish! Go Fish! sandwich/soup stand, Voodoo Doughnut (delicious! I had blue raspberry and Tang doughnuts), some sweet arcades and coffee shops. On the way home we stopped at a J market and bought ingredients, and in the evening I made turkey and zucchini curry (J-style curry) for dinner. It was delicious and there are still leftovers.
WEDNESDAY
All I remember is hanging out with Jeremy, Ashley, and Chris and getting drunk and playing WarioWare.
THURSDAY
For the first part of the day I hung out at Jeremy's office and met his coworkers and wrote part of my paper. Then I hung out at a laundromat and did laundry and read Watchmen, then came home and made onigiri and watched Jeremy play Super Paper Mario (which I think might be my favorite Wii game I've ever played? I doubt it though).
FRIDAY
Hung out at Jeremy's work all day! Got treated to delicious pizza for lunch and went to an awesome soda shop with billions of different sodas. Tried the Bawls root beer; liked it. Afterwards we got Wendy's and went to Jeremy's brother's for game night! There was a cute boy there (Greg) and an adorable little nephew (Locke) and a niece who needed to leave me alone (Emma) and an old school punk (Jason Getty), and we played a zombie board game and it was pretty freaking sweet.
TODAY
The plan is to drive into PDX and visit with Frank and see Watchmen. I still have one chapter left of the book so I'm gonna take care of that.
