(no subject)
So, I'm a little sick. I skipped my second class and took off work and spent like $20 on cold remedies (DayQuil/NyQuil DUO PACK!). I'm a little hot and have trouble focusing, but I have a feeling that has more to do with SPRING BREAK and its imminence than it does to do with anything else. You guys I am so excited to visit Portland and Seattle and the people who are in Portland and Seattle. I don't even care that my flight to Portland gets in at like midnight PST on Friday night. I don't even care that my flight back into Boston gets in at 7AM EST on Monday morning, three hours before my first class. I am going to have the awesomest time. Traveling without my family is still novel to me!
I can't believe it's already been almost a year since I was in Philly. I really miss jamesyscull and willt--even if I've seen you both separately, the three of us together I think is something else. And it goes without saying that I want to see the lovely Miss tropigalia again someday! Philly to Boston is such a weird distance!
So, my Southern Lit class: we originally had a paper due on Friday that if I had put my nose to the grindstone I could have finished. But my professor pushed the due date back to that same Monday and now I am getting LAZY. I've done a rough outline with quotes and I plan to devote at least one day of my break to getting that paper wrote. This is a poor choice and I really ought to finish it. But a lady never refuses a precious gift like a paper extension. And I am a lady, indeed.
