catching up again
Hello anyone who reads this. I just realized it's been a while again, so here i go. Tomorrow is my birthday, but i don't think i'm doing anything. the family dinner is friday, and ahmad and i celebrated yesterday, so what's left? speaking of yesterday, it was lots of fun. we went to the city and saw the 'bodies' exhibit - not for those with weak stomachs - ate delicious food, went to china town, little italy, central park, times square, and south street seaport. i love just being in the city (and the smell of times square). it was a very full day, and i probably would have gotten bored with anyone else but ahmad.
so, i'm home for the week for spring break/easter. no one else is home so i'm working at my dad's office (that's where i am now, and that's why i'm up this early). school's pretty good. i'm glad i'm home now though, becuase last week was just so stressful for me. so much work and so many tests. I officially declared my major last week -environmental chemistry- and my advisor is a pretty cool guy. he told me about opportunities for working in labs and other interesting options. i guess my major isn't the most popular. he said that they've only had 5 envi-chem majors in the past few years. nice. more jobs for me? but anyway, i love life at school. the people really make it fun. i can't wait until this summer when we all head up to josh's and have an awesome time without having work or studying to do.
i hope i get a good job this summer. i really dont want to work in food or retail, so that cuts out a ot of options. i want to head down to the DEC (dept. of envi. conservation) some day this week and beg for a summer job. i also need money badly. very very badly....now taking donations and/or cash birthday presents!
So i think i'm done ranting. here's just a list of things on my mind recently:
-the possibility of studying abroad with midgey midge
-organizing next semester/ my life
-finding a job
-studying for my econ midterm/ writing my paper/ doing my bio lab report
-getting cute shoes...and some pants that fit?
-getting a car for this summer
-seeing lauren today or friday. seeing greg and alicia maybe on easter. seeing uncle frank this weekend. seeing baby jacob on saturday!
-fixing my shirt.
