mmmm...the bahamas. so warm and exciting. the trip was amazing. it was 11 brown people and me, but i didnt feel left out at all. (except when we were playing that song game in the taxi.....no effin idea what was going on). Yeah, so i met some pretty awesome people and had a pretty awesome time in some pretty awesome weather. we did the usual tourist things like jet skiing, laying on the beaches, playing in the pool, etc. etc. etc. but then we also went out drinking (drinking age is 18 there :D! ), went to the market and haggled, ate some local delicacies, and made friends with the locals (Chanice/Janice, this is for you even though there was no karaoke). I had lots of fun being around my bubby for 5 straight days and nights. we had a good mix of group time and alone time, it was fabulous.
let me tell you....there are some really really weird ass people out there. two people immediately come to mind when i say that. first there was this old white guy with a fisherman's hat on by the pool. he was, for some reason un known to us, toweling off this 12 year old fat black boy...and he seemed waaaay to happy about it. he was shakin him down like crazy, and the kid looked like he had no idea what was going on. this story prob. isnt funny to anyone reading it, im just writing it so i remember it later on. the other hilarious person we saw was this chubby little girl in the hot tub. she was sitting up against the jets and the bubbles were making her jiggle like jello in an earthquake. it was soooo funny...batool, fatima, tk, and i were trying so hard not to laugh.

ooh my gosh, so many funny people situations, i cant remember/write about them all. i'm just gonna throw down what i remember--
white seamonkey/screaming shoes, junkanoo, hairy speedo men, fat neck man, the shot table on the beach, pin~a coladas, atlantis, tk getting his hair braided, waiting for everyone (grr), first time every throwing up while drunk, gambling gambling gambling, sleeping late with my bubby, haggling at the straw market, hookah hookah hookah, kamni's birthday dinner and cake, and roaming pantaloons.

yes yes, many fond memories. lots of cool people. hope to do it again some time. love you all and remember:

be neat, be sweet, and keep your bitches off the street.
