sicky update
hello everybody! so i'm up relatively early for a weekend only because i went to bed at like midnight last night. ive been sick since thursday, which sucks, but it gives me the chance to boss ahmad around :D. but really, im so glad he's here to take care of me. even if he's just watching tv with me, it makes me feel like im all comfy at home on the couch and my mommy will be home soon. it would really suck to be here sick without him. margarets gonefor the weekend, so the room is very lonely, and the boys' suite is all the way across the hall (and their couch/floor isnt comfy).
i really shouldnt complain, though. ive realized that the guys really do care about me. they check up on me, let me steal their tissues, and ask if i need anything, even when the answer is always and nasally "no".
mmmm, i had pancakes this morning. the dining hall's pancakes are so good, and they only make them on weekend mornings, and you have to be there before like 1, so i dont always get them. but today, it was good. :)
so, in other news, things are going all right. spring break was pretty fun. i tried pot brownies and it was ok. i didnt enjoy it enough to do it again. idk maybe something happened/didnt happen, but whatever. i'll stick to my alcohol. school is going ok. im not doing as poorly as i though, thankfully, but this sickness is probably gonna put me behind again. it'll all be ok thugh. because thats how things are.
my birthday is coming up soon (11 days!) and ive realized once again that i really dont want material things. my mom wanted to buy me something nice, and everything she suggested i just went "eh, i dont need that." we ended up spending a nice day over spring break out east in sag harbor. we walked the town, had a good lunch, all that jazz. we stopped at tanger on the way home and i got 2 shirts bc im running low on them. i guess that was my birthday present, and im just fine with it. thank you mom.
so, i wont be going home for easter, even though my school has off. ahmad and i are finding a way to geneseo for a few days to visit pat and josh (and babs?) and to see guster. it should be really fun. jimmy, kristen, and dan (and maybe someone else?) should be there, and i havent been to a concert in quite a while.
as it seems, my last day of classes is may 12, and my last final is the 17th. i probably wont be home until friday the 19th, or even saturday the 20th though. thats what we get for having 2 spring breaks. it's fine though, we'll have plenty of summer to see everyone. until then, chaps. i bid you adieu.
