Much has happened in the last month. I did get the job. Not that it was difficult to get a dishwashing job as an university graduate. I've been working at the Golden Rooster 31 hours a week since early may. I quite enjoy dwelling in the kitchen as an underling, opposed to being above ground serving the general public meat, bread and cheese. Though less human interaction doesn't come for free, it means more manual labour in my case. It's still a price I'm willing to pay.

I now hold a degree from Queen's University, a slip of paper I thought would never be in my possession in October. Not for school related reasons.

I've moved out of my shit-hole run by the very cockroach award winner himself: Phil Lam. The votes don't lie, once he took over my building (yes it was rough around the edges) it has gone from bearable to hellish. To make a long story short, this slum lord renovated my shared bathroom adding a moldy plywood floor, deciding to not put in a light fixture (meaning no light source what-so-ever)and no door lock, and let the tiles crack and come up from water damage. Thanks asshole. I've been dealing with this situation since April when Lam started construction. Finally I could take no more so I called a Lawyer, packed up and left.

I'm now residing at Alex's place in a room close to his. It's a large house that Rev use to live in. I'm in heaven, and so is Twigs (my bunny) who now runs around the garage.

On another note, my old apartment was broken into before I moved. My laptop, camera and videocamera were stolen. To top it off they stole a bottle of wine to celebrate their winnings. I'm only really upset about the writing that was on the laptop. I've lost several short stories I was working on, a collection of poems and over a years worth of journal entries. Of course they are only words arranged into sentences, ones I can reproduce. Yet I can't help but feel a sense of loss.
