A shame that obvious untruth concerning our leaving Discedo could not have been the opposite. I think we all tire of the endless nonsense.

Though it seems the most common thing anyone can bother to discuss are the coming and going of individuals here. Why not spend the time we have so much of finding our own way out? Waiting till ( Read more... )

I believe the issue is that no one can manage to get it done. Every turn that is taken to escape is blocked by something else the scientists come up with to bring halt to the attempts.

When? I have yet to see any evidence of this?

Even so, one should not give up on something they desire. No matter what the cost or how long it takes.

Then perhaps you were not here at the time, hm?

That is all well and good, hope is something to hold onto, but failure weighs heavy on a person. Exceptionally so if it's a frequent failure. Your confidence though, it begs the question: what do you propose we do, sir?

And you have been? I care little if there is danger, I will and can handle it.

Failure is a drive to do better, those who cannot deal with it are too weak to be worth the weight of what they desire.

I don't propose any of you do anything but stay out of my way.

Admittedly I do not care if I am trapped here, I was trapped before, I see no change in setting save for new scenery.

Interesting outlook. I believe many here would disagree with it.

And what plan have you? Attack the scientists?

It seems there are a few others with your way of thinking.

They are welcome to.

My plans are not your concern, you clearly have no interest in leaving this place, so why bother including you?

Is that so? I have become somewhat aware that I am, as it were, "crazy." At least according to some presently in the city.

You were the one to bring up the desire of leaving the city, or rather wondering why it has yet to happen. In doing so, one must assume that means you are itching to share your ideas or suggestions of how to do so with someone. No matter whom they are, perhaps.

But then again.
How am I to know what your thought process is?

Then we are at least the same in that respect. To some degree. [Except people think he's crazy for being a mass murderer and you know, fun stuff.]

Speaking out loud to find those of similar mind. That hardly means I wish to share any plans or details with everyone who asks it.

Who are you indeed.

Is that right? Common ground, it seems. Or uncommon, depending on the brand of "crazy" I suppose. [ they're like craziness brothers! ]

But you do wish to share it. And that is something in and of itself.

I am Frédérick Chopin. To whom am I speaking?

I could give you the names of a few people more than willing to tell you about me.

[He'll ignore that middle part. But his brow raises reading the name.]

Zoran Lazarević. The name would mean more to you where I am from, here that is all it is. A name.

Wouldn't it be as simple to have you tell me yourself?

[ he raises brows himself at the name. ] Names are just names in the first place. "Lazarević?" Russian?

To keep it simple, I have killed many men, for reason varying from war to my own personal agenda. There are those here who would call me... criminally insane. Crazy to use another word.

So they are. A good guess, and a correct one.

[ he wants to be disturbed by that, but for some reason, he's not. maybe Waltz has something to do with that? ] Perhaps it was due to war that your mind went and you began to bring harm unto others as result. Who knows? All men are crazy in some form or another.

It was that, or perhaps Icelandic if not Polish, and your accent as heard before did not sound like either one.

At least we can agree on that. [Crazy is as crazy does.]

And what else can you tell, hm? Or is that all? [Now he's just teasing a little, amused that this man is still bothering to talk to him.]
