[Background]
http://uncharted.wikia.com/wiki/Zoran_Lazarevi%C4%87 [Personality] Zoran Larazevic is not a man anyone wants to cross. Or double cross. His main drive is what he wants, and he will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Money is no issue for him, and time is something he knows how to deal with, but someone trying to take what he sees as his? That is something he won't stand for. He may use many to get to his goal, but he does plenty of his own work to get there, using all and any resources to do so. Already considered a dead man by many, he has little fear of anyone trying to stop him in his goal, so when Nate and the gang become a wrench in his plans, he fights back, and fights back dirty.
While he is a very intelligent man, having previously been a Soviet intel officer, he is still susceptible to stories and what most would consider fairy tales and nonsense. Promise of power and immortality that would give him all he needed to become great like other men of history. His main goal is finding a 'stone' that would make him all powerful, and drives him for years to utilize everything he has to find it.
Anyone who knew or heard of him would say he is ruthless and merciless. At one point in the game he even point blank shoots one of his own men, to show Nate that he has nothing to use against him. "Compassion is the enemy. Mercy defeats us." words from Zoran's own lips, and he never strays from this philosophy. The only way anyone is shown 'mercy' is if they could be of more use to him alive than a corpse. Hence why Nate ends up alive in some of his encounters with the man. If he had to he would shoot everyone of his men to get what he wanted, and wouldn't even blink an eye at it or feel any remorse for it.
He has no need for friends, and only makes enemies. Any under his employ know better than to leave said employ because the only way to 'leave' is by death. He suffers no traitors, no second chances, you fuck up you're toast. Exception example being Chloe Frazer, as she was posing as a double agent but as he had someone else under his employ who liked her alive, he had to keep her around to get the information he needed. He is begrudgingly reminded of this a few times, much to his annoyance.
Zoran seems to fall under the habit of 'typical evil guy 101' when it comes to not dealing with the protagonists on his own when he has the chance to. There are multiple times when he thinks he has no further use for Nate and company and instead of killing them off himself, gives the task to another and leaves. Which of course ends up with Nate getting away, and Zoran with a thorn in his side to deal with for another time. A typical fault many bad guys end up with in games or movies and the like. Though sadly for him the couple times he manages to try and kill off Nate on his own something always gets in the way.
[Abilities] While he has no real powers Zoran is handy with weapons and can pack a mean punch. Being a former Soviet intelligence officer he knows how to fight and fight well, and in his new 'job' as a war criminal and arms dealer if he's not sending others to do his dirty work, he's doing it himself. He tends to favor a 92FS-9mm pistol and a sawed-off, double barreled shotgun, though if you give him a chance he'll be more than happy to plant his fists in your face as well.
Because of his canon point Zoran is tougher than a typical human. It would take a lot to hurt or kill him. Nothing real special besides being able to take a lot more damage than a typical person before going down. This is all thanks to drinking sap from the Tree of Life in Shambhala.
[Other important stuff] He's a bad man.

[First Person]
- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
A man who does not let anything stand in his way to what he wants or will accomplish.
- Would you consider yourself a power hungry individual?
Power and the hunger for it defines regular men from those who could be great. I am not so delusional to think I am not what you call power hungry. I know and accept this, it is nothing to be ashamed of. Many great men have come and gone because of what power they gained and had, but most are remembered because of how they used this power they found. Because they did not rest until they had it and sacrificed sweat and blood and all their time to become the men they were. Power hunger is not so simple, there is much to understand about it, too many of you people are so simple to fully grasp it.
- Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
There is no true hero nor villain. Everyone has the possibility to be both, yet neither. A 'hero' does what he does for his own reasons as does a 'villain'. A man who fights for his country and kills many men could be considered a hero, but to those who's family were slaughtered by this man, what is he seen as? A villain. By your simple standards I am nothing but a villain, and I will not shy away from this if you wish to label me.
I slaughter any who stand in my way or oppose me. I have shot a man point blank in the head for no reason than to show that mercy is a weakness that cannot be allowed. Insurgents slaughtered by my men to clear streets for my work, a village filled with women and children destroyed by my order so I could have what I wanted brought to me!
I will not deny what I am, and neither should any of you.
- You are on the verge of death. You know there is no way to survive and there's no coming back. Choose any of the following to answer: What is your last wish? Your last regret? Last thoughts? How do you feel? Who is the last person you think of other than your killer?
There is no regrets in death. Why regret what you cannot change? Foolish. And be assured there are no last wishes for mercy, what honor in death is there if you beg to be left alive?
- Murder. What is your opinion?
I think my opinion is quite clear. It is necessary and effective for many things. Murder can change people, change situations. It can make or break what you are trying to accomplish, so why not use it?
- If you could destroy a city, how would you do it?
And if I already have? I found my tank worked well, among my armed men. If one is going to destroy something do it right and do it so no one will have any reason to think you do not mean to.
- You're dirt poor and your family is starving. You have a chance to steal bread. Do you: a) ignore it and get a job, b) steal it anyway because you know you won't get caught, c) get caught but break out of prison anyway, d) steal it and then hide from the creepy cop that keeps stalking you, e) don't steal because stealing is wrong :(
You're missing the option where I kill the cop and still get away.
[Third Person]
He'd tired of all the up kept neatness of this city. One knew a place best when they knew the worst part of it. The scummy underbelly, that showed the true colors of anything and anyone. Though that does tend to mean more trouble, but that was nothing he couldn't handle. With a few grenades, a pistol and his trusty shotgun with him, Lazarevic felt no fear as he walked through the streets, eyes hard on anyone who looked his way. Not that there were many wandering about.
He's searching for rumored shops, he's heard whispers of places with weapons, possibly ammo for what he already has. Hardly disappointed with his own means of defense and attack, Lazarevic isn't above seeing what the people here could offer, perhaps they might even have something he would be interested in? Either way it would be foolish not to find these places and know where their location is. Stocking up now and for later instances, better to not wait until that moment to look.
And so he'll tire of looking yet not finding and frustration building, grabs the nearest person he can find, and shoves his pistol under their chin, shoving them hard against a convenient wall space.
"Where are they? Show me, NOW!" Patience he had, but not during moments like these. He knew he was close, but not enough to find the place on his own. The man he'd grabbed seems confused and frightened, rightly so, and stutters out a 'where is w-who?'.
"The stores for your weapons, I have heard of them. Now bring me to one! I am in no mood for games." A warning as he presses the barrel of his gun harder against his captive's neck. The man sees no point in fighting this and nods as best he can, before being pulled from the wall and shoved in front of Lazarevic. Gun pointed to the back of the man's head, Lazarevic barks out an order to walk.
"Nothing funny! I will not tolerate any bullshit, take me there and you will keep your head." Maybe.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] My previous Uncharted cast is moving over here so I felt like taking a crack at Somarium with them. It seems like a nice RP and it will be an interesting challenge to see if I can play a bad guy like Lazarevic here, what with him more likely to be trying to escape this place constantly than make nice with everyone.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Be nice to other players, because it's nice to hope that everyone follows this rule. Nice is good.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] Heard about it here and there around LJ RP, but it was brought to my attention most recently by my buddy who plays Nate Drake here now.
[Any questions?] Do I get free candy 8D?
