1. Reply to this post with 'Icons!', and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

One day I was perusing icon comms during my lunch break at work. I stumbled upon this little gem. There's a textless version of it, but I liked the textual kissy sound. The kittens are just so tiny and cute, there was no way I could resist. I like this icon a great deal because it's very sweet and affectionate.

Possibly the most pressing question in the whole wide universe put in obnoxious icon form. Oh, the things I find on Encyclopedia Dramatic. When that stops being funny, I quit.

I saw this floating around the internet somewhere and saved it. When I discovered the maker of the icon, I was stoked. The icon is just so funny to me. At the time, I played Squalo, so that unhappy shark just made me think of him increasing the lulz tenfold.

This is my life with Freeway. Yes, I wear a sleep mask. Mine's black though. Like my jammies, my cat, and my heart. Well, not my heart, but you get the point.

Luke Skywalker is, was, and always will be my one true hero. Obi-Wan was his co-pilot and Luke's mine. Who needs God?

I was given five words by sephygirl in which to TL;DR about! :D Comment with 'Words' if you want some!

INTEGRAL
Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Tha't's Sir Hellsing to you. Probably one of the first female characters from anime/manga that I really liked. She's not sweet or dull. She's not full of fanserivcey bounce and panty-shots. Not that I would complain. Integral is sexy as hell, if you ask me. This lady rocks. She's strong, arrogant, and doesn't take anyone's shit. But underneath that hard candy shell, she's a marshmellow. Innocent, still a little childish, doubtful, and insecure. Integral is by far one of my favourite fictional characters.

CALIFORNIA
IS A LONG FUCKING STATE TO DRIVE THROUGH WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING! D: And so many of my friends live there. Woe, woe, wooooe!

GOTH
I'd be thinner, I'd be taller
Go clubbing in my collar
With skin pale as a moth
Dressed in black, I'd go creepin'
While the normal folk are sleepin'
If I only were a Goth
With my hair up, I'd look fancy
Like Siouxsie and the Banshees
With silk or velvet cloth
Dressed in boots, never sandals
And the room would be lit with candles
If I only were a Goth

Yes I'd wanna die
From the bottom of my heart impure
Would I like another clove? Well, sure
And after that, we'll go listen to The Cure

I'd pretend to be a vampire
Like in stories 'round the campfire
I'd suck your bloody froth
Yes the thing I'd be best at
Is impersonating Lestat
If I only were a Goth

In my casket purse I'm toutin'
Einsturzende Neubauten
And pagan hymns to Thoth
Yes the world would be depressing
Over death I'd be obsessing
And this corpse that I'm undressing
Would be sexier, I'm guessing
With my diet I'd get scurvy
And I'd worship Peter Murphy
If I only were a Goth

COLORING
My favourite Photoshop pass-time. Manga scan, retouching, anything. I love to colour! I can never work on an image without recolouring some part of it however small. I also love to colour with crayons, paints, coloured pencils, and inks. Coloured calligraphy is always fun. Not to mention hair colour. If it wasn't murder on my hair, I'd colour it different every week or two. I love being colourful like that.

ALUCARD
The best thing to happen to vampire fiction in recent history. Don't get me wrong, I love Lestat as much as the next girl (until around Queen of the Damned). Many of you know I blame Anne Rice for destroying the vampire genre of fiction. Yes, the vampire can be used as a metaphor to better understand the human condition, but historically, it was a monster that once was a man. That's exactly what Alucard is. He's a monster who revels in death and killing. He says that humans are mysterious to him, he scorns them, he destroys them with ease. But, he also reveres humanity for its strengths and recognizes its frailties. Above all things, he is a monster, that thing we read about int he vampire myths. But he also has his glimpses of humanity, the few small reminders to us as a reader that once he was human.
