Day 9: Your favorite tennis match or story arc

NOW I HAVE TO TYPE THIS ALL OVER AGAIN! RAHH! (and the second time too, cos i accidentally went back to the previous page just now and again the draft could not be restored zzz)
anyway, i'll shall recall my post slowly. *smiles bitterly*
i believe most, if not all tenipuri fans will agree that all the matches during the Nationals arc (whether is it quarter finals, semifinals or finals) were awesome and that the Nationals arc is undoubtedly the best one out of the whole Prince of Tennis series. (:
so i shall choose something else that i like besides something from the Nationals arc!
i really like the match where Fuji Shuusuke and Echizen Ryoma played against each other! the serious and slightly scary Fuji against the willful and determined Ryoma who was out to break his senpai's Higuma Otoshi!
it's really one of those matches which i'll never get sick of!
i like how Fuji was so serious in this one and how stubborn Ryoma was with his repeated smashes, like a kid who is angry for not being able to get what he wants. (although we know that he was smashing again and again to get the timing down and not as a vent of anger! ^^)
firstly, i had a hard time deciding on the screenshots to use! i've captured quite a number of them heheh! in the end, i decided to make a collage to showcase them! (:

(i really like how this one had turned out. the scenes look like they are from a movie instead of anime, don't they? again, it's thanks to picnik! ^^)
and not to forget, the duel in the rain:
and may i add that Fuji looked really hot in this episode? ♥
(i edited the colours, contrast and texture of the above screenshots to further emphasise his coolness! hahaha!)
but seriously, he looks so deliciously evil here! *covers face*
and i really like the tension between the two of them too!
Fuji: Tezuka and Momo... Now there's a match I want to watch.
Ryoma: Then let's end this quickly.
Fuji: Are you just gonna lose to me then?
Ryoma: No way.
and it's not only the match that i like out of these 2 episodes, i also love the bits of humour here and there. eg the moment when Fuji, with a seemingly innocent smile, said out this classic line,
"I like to see people suffer even more."

remember never to cross Fuji ya? XD
and also the moment when the term '3 monsters' of Seigaku was created:
Ryoma: But Seigaku's an interesting team.
Momoshiro: Huh?
Ryoma: We have two monsters on our team.
Momoshiro: Don't you mean three?
Ryoma: (Huh?)

actually, i also like Atobe's matches. cos before his matches, we get to hear the oh-so-famous Hyoutei chants which I will usually chant along too even though I'm a Seigaku supporter, it's just too addictive and powerful! and we'll also get to hear Atobe's trademark line, "Ore-sama no bigi ni yoi na!" ^^
but i like Fuji-Ryoma match even more! :P
btw, if i were to choose a favourite arc, it would be the Junior Selection Camp arc! i really like to see the interactions among the different players from the different schools! ^^
p/s: i know i haven't answered for day 7 and 8 but i'll get to them as soon as i can settle down with a fixed answer. =/
p/s 2: has not been updating my lj regularly because i've been working on a fanfic ahahaha! it's a sudden idea which i felt i must write about though i'm not too sure where it will go but we'll see how luh huh? it's been like 5 years since i wrote one? haha!
