I spent last night at incredible ritual, but it was a really long day. We got home at 2am and had to get up by 8am. This morning, I took M back to camp, and crashed out at the Ranger's house for a few hours, then booked it back home for birthday dinner with the folks. We went to McGraths, a seafood restaurant in Federal Way. It was so tasty! I ate many prawns. My brother even showed up, so it was a real family outing, except for no M. :(
I did have a little panic when I realized what day it was, and knowing I had something due the 20th of July, thought it was the 10 page paper full of hate. So I ran home expecting to pull an all-nighter. But it's still got 10 more days on it. And I am SO BUSY this week! I'm taking mom to the airport tomorrow. Then I take my dad to get the car fixed (and he bribes me with an oil change). I work Wednesday. Then I thought I'd go to camp Wed night and Thurs to try my hand at blacksmithing (I want to make a sickle!). Then it's back home to prepare for the OLOTEAS event this weekend with the Girlz! I am very looking forward to it. Oh, and doing homework, class and study throughout the week. Not sure how it will all go down, but these things tend to work themselves out.

Cool! I always see Deer in my astral landscape! Also, that was my mom's nickname at summer camp. I need financial security. How great would that be? I'm feeling very optimistic about this upcoming year. I think things are starting to come together, and I am working hard on actively trusting Spirit. I feel like I'm in a new place, but I'm comfortable with that. I have lots of freedom right now and am trying to make hay while the sun shines.
Thank you to everyone who bade me birthday wishes, took me out to eat or gave me gifts. I've always distrusted birthdays because they tend to be disapointing, but this one went well enough. I may have to make my own cake, but at least I know I am loved. :)
