Those were the days

I was hanging out with Mr. McCrate for a bit last night, reminising about the good old days with the apartment in covington and the parties, and the friends, and all the makeout with all the people who's names I can't recall. Man...I miss that place so much. No matter how gross it was and how hard that floor was to sleep on.

Anyway, the point is we decided that we both miss Mr. Hoft a lot too and I think we're going to go to Seattle this summer to see him. Perhaps I should e-mail jared to tell him this and to make sure he'll be there this summer. Man, if we could talk some of the other kids into going...It'd almost be like the good ole days.

Sometimes I really wish I could recreate the summer after high school graduation - all the people, all the places, all the friends I never get to see anymore.
Before everyone moved.
Before everyone had to work 2 jobs to make rent.
Before all the Loveland kids got into heavy drugs.
Before I left my midwestern edan of teenage bliss, dancing on the edge of adulthood, for the bluegrass fields and the homesickness that followed...things never were the same after that.

But I'm not saying things are great now, but there are some points in time in one's life that can never be replaced.
