Finished!
I've finished my first chapter! But I'm too tired to post it tonight, i.e. I'll post it tomorrow. But I'm still going to post my sketches tonight. REMEMBER!!!! THESE ARE SKETCHES NOT ART! I CAN'T DRAW TO SAFE MY LIFE THEREFORE I WRITE!
I do these to get a better feel for the character and thought I would share.
This is the Evil King. I messed up his eye, so he's now blind on one side. His main colours are lilac, white and gold.
This is Jensen's brother Jonathan (Jon for short) in all his knighty glory. Don't look too closely if you want to avoid spoilers... His armour depicts a red cross on a white background. Which is a Monty Python reference and has nothing to do with any real historical figures.
A short sketch of the over ground catacombs. Not much to say really.
A sketch of two different possible versions of my fairy. I prefer the right one. The left one was inspired by Navi.
And finally Jensen. I avoided drawing his face, so we can still have the illusion of his beauty. The main focus are thus his clothing, I added the earring after some thoughts, but I really really liked it, so it stayed.
