Therapy/Internet Stalkers/Religious Nuts/Mom

I think that, in this case, this woman was the one to slight her own religious community by setting such a poor example.

To be fair, I considered that perhaps she was merely lacking in common sense. But the fact that she contacted my mother through her blog--under false pretenses, no less, and you know how I feel about dishonesty/deception--instead of speaking to me first and respecting the fact that we are equals (she claimed to be 23 years old), makes me tend to distrust her words and her intentions.

Had she reached out to me, on a more personal level, instead of trying to go over my head to my closest authority figure in such a manipulative manner, then perhaps I would have been willing to speak with her and straighten this all out. However, as it stands, NC needlessly caused my mother distress by basically stalking and libeling me and offended her by insulting the values she had taught me, and as such deserves no such consideration.

Whew! I guess I'm still a little angry over this. Anyway.

I hope NC learned a lesson from this, or at least will stop contacting my mother, which is what I am mainly concerned with.
