Work Paralysis is the frustrating condition which is characterized by being unable to move forward with a project because a key component is missing, incomplete, and/or incorrect. If left untreated, this condition may lead to physical health problems, including chronic migraines, ulcers, and lumbago.
For example:
Gitta, having been asked to complete this project last week, would have loved to begin entering payments from April. However, a calculation code involved in the billing was incorrect, which seriously impeded her progress. She could not correct it herself because she didn't have authorization, and both of the people who were authorized were absent from work that day. Powerless and seething, Gitta endured her Work Paralysis and hoped that her condition would improve sooner rather than later.
