(no subject)
one thing i hate about going to a private school is all the rich, obnoxious people you come across.
i was sitting in my law class today listening to do this girl and guy talk about their fall break:
the girl is going to cancun for 3 days.
her parents are paying for it because her mom said that the daughter would probably spend more shopping if she was home on break, so she was actually saving money. (go figure).
and the guy was flying to las vegas this weekend because he just can't stand the winter here.the weekend after her's going to miami, and after that, somewhere in south carolina.
needless to say i was pissed off.
anyways..
i'm headed back to buffalo tomorrow afternoon for break, which i can't wait for.
it seems like this monday and tuesday have gone by much slower than a normal 5 day week.
i am really excited to go home, just to get a break from all the stress, work etc.
and i am bringing my car back to school.
but i am currently 1/4 done with my sophomore year, i can't believe how fast it's going by.
and overall i'm pretty content with how it has been going.
i've got a couple girls who i've been talking to alot lately and getting to know, so thats really good in that department.
oh and the park school of communications, where i have my film major...offers 20 free trips to france for 2 weeks in the summer...they have this exchange program with a college in dijon, france....and i ended up winning a spot on the trip. i'm going in may...and my awesome photography professor who i had last year is coming with us, I'm really excited. it's mainly a sightseeing trip, but we do some stuff with french college students and go to french tv studios, etc....so that should be fun.
in other news, my seasonal addiction to apple cider is at an all time high.
i just can't wait for break.
