lazy days
We walked straight past her, but she doesn't know my face. My heart was racing but I was calm and collected on the outside and nobody would've known a thing. How I love the internet and the strange little things is does to my life.
Went to the bay yesterday to paddle with the munchkin. Aaron and I, dressed in black with pasty white feet and ankles exposed, chasing after Lachlan in his Metallica tshirt and a nappy. Rode the merry-go-round (I hadn't ridden one since Bryant Park) and ate icecream, then took the sleepy, cranky little one to see his friend. We went to buy secondhand music (I found me some Jane's!) then had a feast of cheap Mexican food and watermelon juice.
Sharing lots of "happy-magic" as Carrie likes to call it, has been much fun. I should be planning class for Tuesday. I should also have my assignments done by the end of today.
