Well, I wanted to go home so bad, and sadly I had to go sooner than expected. Friday night I went home to see my doggy, Shelby. She's extremely sick and is going to have to be put to sleep soon. I went to say goodbye to her :( It was a trip home full of tears. I know some people may say, she's only a dog, but she's my family, she's my friend. She's been there for me for the last 11 years of my life through so many hard times. Somehow she always managed to make life seem so much simpler and brighter. She's the best dog in the whole world. I'll miss her so very much. For those of you who don't know, she has kidney cancer and she's had seizures for almost her whole life. She's completely blind and we think completely deaf now too. She's gotten so incredibly tiny. I cried at the sight of her, it's so heartbreaking to see. I love you Shelby.
I'm glad though that I got to see my parents. I really do miss home, though home will never be the same without my doggy. Things have been so crazy, and so sad lately. It's one bit of bad news after another. I was happy to see my mom, especially after the past couple weeks. She's the strongest woman I know. She's my best friend. It's all so hard. But we'll all make it through... my family is strong. <3
I just want to say that, my thoughts and prayers are especially with Dooey and his family. Life can be sooo hard. Just know you always have a friend in me.
