today i had the car! and drove around running errands (like going to
elliott bay) with the windows down blasting
he is legend and laughing at the core kids who would turn to watch me drive past. ha ha! and shhh but i did a drive by of the interview spot tomorrow to chill the nerves a little. it's a completely different experience when you admire someone's work, it brings the nerves out.
tonight i went to the
Seattle Art Museum for the
KEXP sampler cd release party which was lame, but they kept the gallery open for us which was niiiiiice. Japanese art rocks! After that i went solo the see
Chuck Pahalniuk give a reading in a converted church in my neighborhood. how awesome! i was so stoked. and he was hilarious, he threw severed body parts into the audience as door prizes. and put all 200 of us in the know that five of his six novels are currently in some stage of being made into movies. and choke was bought by the duo that made requiem for a dream (drools over darren aronofsky.) now i will stop the journaling after two entries so that i may greet our weekend guests and work on my thank you for the interview cards. cheers!
