Got this in my inbox today form the communtiy.
Those interested in Native beleife/lore/culture should take a look!

This e-mail came to me form a resident of Six Naitons- a Native Reserve here in SOuthern Ontairo. It read the following:

"THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN IN THE WOODS
NEAR KIRKLAND LAKE , ONTARIO , CANADA .
ABOUT 90 MILES FROM TIMMINS ONTARIO ."

"A white moose is sacred to the native people...I was told they bring a warning or a storm is coming so watch out Kirland lakers."

Some Elders also agreed that their teaching included that a white Moose meant a warning... and they themselves bring a great Cold and Storm.
This Moose was spotted about 2 days ago.
Currently in Ontario, many cities, towns, and lakes, have been hit with a sudden "Arctic Temperature" drop, and the forecast warns of an upcoming storm.
These temperatures have not been recorded in our rural areas for YEARS.

I'm in Toronto, and currently it is -17 and going to be -20 soon. The same for Thornhill, and the Urban areas which are experiancing -17 or -20 and expectation to drop into the -30s.
Ottawa is -23, Thunder Bay is -23 (going to drop to -27 and -30), ... and Kirkland Lake (where the Moose was spotted) is -27 (and going to drop to -37).

I say we put on a couple more sweaters. :)
