Since I've known for a while your stance on P2P and what it means for fanfiction and Twidom, I didn't feel like commenting on the post itself. But then I read the last sentence of your reply:
Many days I find myself thinking, "Man, out of all the things I could've nerded out over through the years, I had to wind up here..."

That really upset me. So, I want to make sure you know: your strong convictions and what you wrote for this fandom inspired a lot of people, including me. And nerdy as some of it was, it was also passionate, incredibly candid, and dare I say - on more than one occasion - profound. You've helped some of us in this fandom to be better writers and gain more confidence.

Man, if you *didn't* nerd out over Twi, I would've never met you, and that would've been a real shame.

I am not looking forward to BD2 at all - moved on from Twi some time ago - but I wish I was in your area to go with you to see it. I'm sure we would've ridiculed some parts, and probably would've genially enjoyed some others in nostalgic kind of way. It has been a great ride while it lasted, and we all learned a lot from it, didn't we? I know I did, and a lot of it - many thanks to you.
