Calling
“Humans have no understanding of logic”
Kodos.
I’ve never liked it when a person calls me drunk. I’ve also tried to never let my friends call others drunk. In the past couple of weeks I’ve had to deal with my friends (mostly guys) calling others drunk.
At my friends birthday party my friend Mike decided that he was going to call a girl that he had been dating. He was DRUNK, luckily the call did not go threw, BUT he was “smart” enough to give the phone to one of our female friends to leave the message. I tried to talk her out of it but she left the message anyways. “we look forward to meeting you, we hope you would like to be part of the group, bla bla bla.” It will come as no surprise to you that this girl will no longer take his calls.
But that isn’t the end of it. I went out this Saturday to Nicks (a bar in PB) I was there with 4 guy friend and 1 female friend
***side note I meet a really cute girl there. I’ll tell you more about her after I’m done with my rant.***
Of course The Playa was there. Hitting on every girl there. Tell me how is it logical for a guy who is trying to “get with you” to 1 tell you about other girls that he was calling and 2 flirt with others in front of you. **rolling eyes** So on this night he sits next to me and says that he is going to call a girl. I like a good friend take the phone away from him and I don’t let him. I explain to him that its not nice to call people when you are drunk and that he is not to do it. So he didn’t. I received much thanks from him and other friends. Yahh.
Oh its not over ladies and gents. Today I get a phone call. The Playa himself calls me. . . DRUNK. I explain to him that it would stand to reason that if I was unwilling to allow him to call a girl when he was drunk that I myself would not like it if I received a phone call from a drunk person.
The funny thing is that I had called him earlier offering him my help with cleaning his boat tomorrow (he also informed me on the phone call that he had just called this girl to ask her out on a date) Some people have no understanding of logic. With this particular case, it was not jealousy that came forward it was distaste for the lack of courtesy. This, my friends, is why I’m more interested in girls then I am in guys right now.
So the moral or end or whatever of the story is. . . I am annoyed with silly men are not able to use logic. I know for a fact that not all of them are like that. I know several that use logic quite often (they even correct me) but oh my goodness some people just have none.
Which gives way to my new montra, are you ready. . .
Ignorant people were put on this Earth for my amusement, and with you in my life it is never a dull day. :)
