(no subject)
You know, despite never having seen him in anything other than Harvey (which I'm watching right now), it still makes me kind of sad that James Stewart (the man who played Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey) died in 1997. Gods, I love this movie. What is it about non-children movies with giant bunny rabbits?
I work a total of 10 hours this next week. If that's what I'll be scheduled on average after Valentines day, I won't even be able to make my rent to mum for the month. My sister gave me a good way to tell my manager I want to find another job, too. That's good. Hopefully I'll be able to find something closer to where I live, so that I can either walk, or bike or something. I might try the Borders near our house, but my brother said he's seen the store manager around, and that he's not a very nice guy and yells at his employees a bit. Ugh. I also might try for a waitressing job at The Drunken Fish, because it's a pretty ritzy place. We'll see. I'll try applying everywhere I can, at this point.
Casper seems to have vanished. Mum is worried he might have gotten outside, but with it this cold out I find it more likely that he'd be in the basement or trapped in my sister's room or something. I doubt he'd be be outside very long, if he got out.
My hamster is losing weight, and I don't know why. It's worrying me. Mum's suggested that we try buying her different food, so we'll try that. I also want to buy her a new cage, since I haven't liked the one I bought her when I got her since I got IT. It's hard to clean, and even harder to get her out to play with her. Too small.
Mum kicked my brother out of the house again. He seemed to take it better this time. They'd been having an argument over the TV, and he ended up pouring a bowl of soup she'd made down the sink, and they ended up fighting about THAT, too. So she kicked him out. He was here for a stupid reason anyway, because he got his car smashed in an accident, and thought the police might be after him for leaving the scene. Idiot.
I should really be working on art. Really, I should.
Also, Teen Lore has been finished. Lineart by me, inks and colors by my friend Chibi Sheepcat (on Gaia. AKA Chibichi)
