You know when it's TRUE love
What is it about love that reels us in and never lets us go? Like a good song that we never want to end, even though we've heard it 28 times in a row. Some things just stick to us. Stick with us. Some people just stick to us for the rest of our lives. Why can't we let go? Maybe we're glued to memories. Memories of times when the only reason we were really alive was because we were in love. Or maybe it's the other way. Maybe we're glued to that one person. And we didn't know it at the time, but we walked away from the only person in the world who we saw ourself in when we looked into their eyes. And now it's gone. And a part of us has died. But that was what it took to make us realize that love never fades. We choke on the air we breathe because it'll never quite be the same as it used to be. We'll never be the same as we used to be. But we'll always be in love.
