Excuse me while I go attempt to pick up the pieces of my mind.
I just finished watching the movie 'Looper'. Wow! That was incredible. And I can't think of a better/worse example of a preview completely misrepresenting a movie. When I saw the preview when the movie first came out, I was completely convinced it was going to be a pointless shootem-up action movie with a sci-fi veneer, and an unlikely premise to boot. But earlier this evening, feeling sick and not having the energy to move off the couch, I figured what the hell, I could go for some brainless action. I could not have been more wrong. My mind is freakin' blown.
As an aside, I'm very much looking forward to seeing more work from Pierce Gagnon. I'd never seen him before I started watching 'Extant', and now in the past couple months I've seen him in two other things. Remarkable talent for one so young.
