woot.
I had a great weekend here at Rhodes. Friday night was the "dance". It was interesting. The girl/boy ratio was ridiculous...like 15/1. Anyhow, we goofed around to random songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody...it was great fun. Then we ran through the sprinklers and went back to the dorms. Saturday was our "Retail Therapy" day. We left the campus at 2:00 and got to a great mall by 2:30. My history class saw Batman Begins (my history professor, Professor Pruitt, paid for our whole class to see it because it relates to what we're studying in class...heck yes!) The plot was really underdeveloped, but it was entertaining. Lauren Folgosa and I did some serious speed shopping (like, 6 stores in 20 minutes). Saturday night we watched American Psycho. It was a pretty weird film. Sunday I worked on my paper for Pruitt's class and turned it in at around 6:00. Lots of lazing around.
Now I'm back in the swing of the regular weekly schedule. I can't believe we only have about five days left. The days seem so long, but now that I look back it's all gone by so quickly.
Oh yeah, I've gotten A's on my first two papers! I didn't think it was that big of an accomplishment, but I'm one of two that's gotten even one A in my whole class. score.
