Today was an amazingly productive and fulfilling day.
-I got Senior Class Secretary. My opponent (Melissa Littlejohn) didn't come to school today because she was sick. Whatever...it let me win. I'm truly excited and happy. I've always been on the losing end of these silly student council elections, and it feels so good to finally win.
-I had a ton of homework and completed it all before 8:30 (after tv, dinner, and of course chatting online). I usually just write down some answers, but I really did it tonight. That's rare, my friends, quite rare.
-I successfully studied for an AP Biology test (also quite rare).
-I played baseball with my brother in our yard.
-I confirmed a meeting with the Curator at the museum downtown for tomorrow afternoon. She's going to give me a "behind the scenes" tour of the museum. She said it's refreshing to see a teenager so interested in history and who wants to pursue a career in it. Exciting!
The National Honor Society walk-through is tomorrow afternoon. This has the potential to be extremely awkward. Do I walk in, say my name, pause, then walk out? Or walk in, pause, say my name, pause, walk out? Or walk in, say my name, and run like hell out of there? I'll probably feel like doing the third.
