So, tried a
Delia recipe for braised red cabbage with apple tonight. Not a success, as the cabbage didn't seem to be cooked (it was still a bit crunchy) despite being in the oven for nearly 3 hours!
Jay was not impressed with the taste at all. Now I have a bowl full of partly cooked cabbage that I don't know what to do with... any suggestions?
Luckily I made coleslaw with the other half of the cabbage, so I'll eat that anyway. Hopefully no cabbage in the veg box next week!
