soon to be in-laws
I want Christmas to happen really soon. Christmas is kind of a deadline for us, I want everything to be finalized around then, I don't think I can wait until the spring to be moved, I need to be moved by the time the holidays are over. Phoenix couldn't possibly be any further from Toronto, I feel like I'm temporarily stuck on the wrong planet and I'm just waiting to be able to leave. I wish his parents wouldn't add on stress to our situation. They make me feel like everything we do is on THEIR watch and that everything needs to be done a certain way so that they can feel at peace, but what they don't understand is that we need to be in control of our own lives and make our own adult decisions because we are adults. My parents have not tried to force us into doing anything or stopped us from doing anything.
Its so irritating and frustrating to have anyone try enforce their parental regulations on us!
Instead of telling us what their demands are and what they want and need they should ask us what we want and support us in whatever we do.
I'm glad my parents are hippies and really relaxed and care, but don't try to dictate our lives.
