Devo was spectacular! Although by the time I was done pinching myself, it was over. Way too short, but worth every minute. The Riviera is such a great venue. An old timey theatre big enough to accomodate, yet a cozy feel in atmosphere. My seat was perfect- front row, center of the balcony. Surrounded by die-hards from Scotland, St. Louis, San Diego....I could've sang and danced all night....
Tuesday, Chelsea, Molly, Jason, Dasha and I ventured out to the Grand Italian pig trough to stuff ourselves silly(why do I do that?!) It totally brought back memories of our escapade with Dub Tee. I believe this was the first time I'd ventured back since then and would you believe one of the staff nudged me and said, "We STILL have the most orgasmic dessert buffet in town!"?
Dasha kept saying, "I can eat all of this? I can get more?" She was totally wowed. I have never seen one person eat so many maraschino cherries and marshmellows in one setting! The other day she whined (as only a Russian girl can) "But Jennifer... I have gained 7 kilograms- in one month!" Oh yes- I will porkin' her up good and send her back to Russia with her buttons popping!
Later Molly and I made toothbrush bracelets. Lotsa trial and error (and broken toothbrushes) but with some cool results. That girl is an oral hygiene jewelry genius!
