Heehee...how awesome is this George Rodrigue piece?!
I first came to know Rodrigue's work through this Absolut Vodka ad. Back in day, I faithfully collected Absolut Vodka ads and literally decorated my teenage room with these pieces of pop art / ads. A highlight of my New Orleans trip last December was visiting one of his galleries in the French Quarter of N.O. The dog in his paintings, btw, is his deceased pet, Tiffany.
AND...he's having an exhibition in Houston at the end of August - I'm excited!
