I want to run, I want to hide, I want to tear down the walls that hold me inside

Boy, I had the worst day on Friday. Just one of those days where you're depressed and nothing goes right and just...blecch. But when I got home from work, P had bought me Goblet of Fire and Chamber of Secrets! And poof, I felt so much better. Funny how a silly little thing like that can make such a difference.

Had a very nice weekend. Went to the St. Patrick's Day parade and played some poker. Watched Sopranos, went to be early. Good stuff.

It was funny--playing poker with my dad, brother and P and who should happen to show up? Yes, the fireman. Yikes. And then it turned out that not only did he sit at the same table as P and me, but he sat right next to P! Eeek. I was across from them and it was hilarious to have them both looking at me and talking to me and not knowing who each other were. P's only seen the fireman once, so I was hoping he wouldn't recognize him.

But it was awful (good)--the fireman kept winking at me and flirting and I had a heck of a time. It was such a sticky wicket that I had to get drunk. ;) And yesterday P asked me who the guy I spent all break talking to was--I decided it wouldn't be prudent to tell him it was the fireman this time, so I just said it was a guy I see at poker sometimes. Hee.
