Poll: Your Aunt Flo

Being sprogged, I have an interest in watching the pregnant community. I keep seeing posts there from women who have no idea when their last period was (and therefore have no idea how far along they are) and I wondered just how common it is not to know when your last period was.

I ask because since I first got my period around the age of 11, I have avidly tracked it. When I first started, my mother and I both marked it on the family calendar in the kitchen. Once I got a little older, I kept it on my own calendar. I have always known when my last period was.

Now, due to my PCOS, I pretty much never knew exactly when my next period was coming, but knowing when the last one was gave me a general idea of when I should be expecting it, which was always very helpful. And of course, for the times I was on birth control, I'd always know at least what week it was coming. I still marked it down in my little purse calendar anyway. Possibly my careful tracking was a result of my body's wonky cycles and maybe girls who were more regular didn't worry about it as much.

Anyway, I'm just wondering what other women's habits are regarding keeping track of Mother Nature. So here's a poll all about it!
