Okay, first - news on Dad. Unfortunately, it's not much. They told us the cancer is "moderately aggressive" and said they didn't catch it early like they like to do, but they're not late either. They caught it "medium." So, could be worse, I guess

Sort of ok news and excellent news. Hope everything works out ok for your dad with his MRI and treatment. On the baby front , don't worry about weight gained or lack thereof, babies are basically parasites(not to put too fine a point on it!), so Peanut will be fine. Mr. F sounds like a honey.

I'm not worried about my weight (beyond my initial obsessing and subsequent tossing it out the window) but it was exciting to see I'd finally tipped the scale in the right direction.

Since I had a surplus anyway, I know Peanut will take anything he needs from me regardless.

Mr. F has been an absolute darling so far. So solicitous, doing everything for me, backrubs and kisses and general cuteness. ♥

Have you thought about setting up a collection site for your dad? I know it feels weird asking people for money but there's loads of people who'd sell a story or something to help out like they did for the firefic thing and others. It's not right that there should be no healthcare for him. No matter how much people moan about the national health service here we'd be lost without it. Jeez, the US is a huge economy and it can't take care of the basic needs of some of it's citizens. Shocking.

Oh and my friend's husband has started singing the New Zealand national anthem to her bump. He is a Kiwi, so I suppose it makes a bit more sense. He tells her (the bump is female) about his day and what they're having for dinner and then sings the national anthem. My friend thinks he's loopy :-)

Have you thought about setting up... Huh. No, the thought never crossed my mind! Hm. I wonder what it would take to do something like that. My brother does web stuff, I bet he could get something going. I should talk to them about it.

It IS ridiculous that there are no options for my dad right now...hopefully things like this will change in the near future but for now, it titally sucks.

Ha! I should have Mr. F sing God Save the Queen and give Peanut a bit of his family's heritage!

Also, we enjoy putting the remote control on my belly and watching it twitch. LOL! But so very special too! :)

I hope everything goes well for your dad. Eeek! Any kind of cancer is just scary.
