Okay, first - news on Dad. Unfortunately, it's not much. They told us the cancer is "moderately aggressive" and said they didn't catch it early like they like to do, but they're not late either. They caught it "medium." So, could be worse, I guess

I'm not worried about my weight (beyond my initial obsessing and subsequent tossing it out the window) but it was exciting to see I'd finally tipped the scale in the right direction.
Since I had a surplus anyway, I know Peanut will take anything he needs from me regardless.
Mr. F has been an absolute darling so far. So solicitous, doing everything for me, backrubs and kisses and general cuteness. ♥

Oh and my friend's husband has started singing the New Zealand national anthem to her bump. He is a Kiwi, so I suppose it makes a bit more sense. He tells her (the bump is female) about his day and what they're having for dinner and then sings the national anthem. My friend thinks he's loopy :-)

It IS ridiculous that there are no options for my dad right now...hopefully things like this will change in the near future but for now, it titally sucks.
Ha! I should have Mr. F sing God Save the Queen and give Peanut a bit of his family's heritage!
