Various and sundry
Hi kids, what's new? All is well with me, recovering grandly from my slice&dice over the weekend. I feel surprisingly well and spry for having but cut open on Friday.
Still not supposed to lift anything over 10 lbs but most times I forget there's even anything wrong with me. And then I'll sneeze or turn wrongly and get an OW inside my belly. Weird, the incisions themselves don't hurt much - they're all glued shut with Dermabond and only hurt if I actually poke at them. (Which I do.) It's the internal ouch that gets me when I make a wrong move and have to remind myself to take it easy.
Even though I went on vacation for a week and came home to 101 e-mails in my inbox, work has been surprisingly slow this week. I have entertained myself with the Internetz (gasp!) i.e.:
Look, it's The Sexies! Sex-positive Journalism Awards. Good on them. I'm all for being sex-positive. Like Elizabeth in that one fic.
Aww, Our Rodney made it into Fandom Secrets. (Scroll down to #28.) Also, me too #63. Me too.
It's time to retire Chuck, so I am shopping at Babeland. Anyone have anything they'd like to recommend?
(In related news, have been browsing my sex tag today. Hm. I used to write a lot more about my sex life. What happened to me now that I'm having more sex?)
