Great showing at Worlds prelims!

Apparently the US ladies had an AWESOME showing in the preliminary round of the World Gymnastics Championships this weekend! I'm unbelievably excited about this because, as hard as it is to believe, Beijing (2008 Summer Olympics) is now less than a year away. I'm also happy to read about how well Alicia did, both because she was pretty much robbed at least year's Worlds and also because she happens to be one of my favorite girls on the elite scene right now. I also loved her quotes in that ESPN article, yay for her! I also like Shawn Johnson a lot as well, she was spectacular at last months US Nationals competition and she really proved she will be a force to recon with going forward. The article also mentioned her good start at Worlds as well!

I also just found out that there will be online coverage of Worlds starting on Wednesday and also NBC will air coverage of it on October 7th at 4 PM EDT. I'm totally looking forward to seeing this meet!
