I'm BACK, thank GOD
It's good to be back. ^_
I finally got to see everyone last night at Swamp Stomp, even if it was just for a little while. There are no words for how much I missed all of you guys. We need to have one of our crazy ass dinners in the OR as soon as possible.
And so, a virtual toast. To all of my old friends in New Orleans; Gabby, Michael, Bryan, Tamrah, Becky, Erinn, Maddy, Jenn, Cecil, Amanda...I love you all SO MUCH. There is no limit. And hey, this time around we get a full year to hang out. ^_^ ::::puts hands over ears and says LaLaLa, Ernesto, who's that?:::::::
To the friends who are not there...Kim and Mary. I miss you guys like you wouldn't believe and omg you need to visit soon!!!! Like, now! You know you'll always be welcome here. So visit already!
To new friends...hah, the whole ResLife Staff. ^_^ But mostly Sam and Robin. And Adara and the other Amanda and that blonde kid with the Airforce ROTC who I keep talking to but can never figure out his name. Y'all are awesome.
(and my god, that y'all came out naturally. I'm going native.)
Training was...training. ^_^ That's all I'll say about that. Move-in was crazy, but not as crazy as it should have been.
Much love to Robin for driving him, me and Sam to the Quarter in the middle of the night for food. Even though all we found were bars and strip joints. McDonald's always works though. Love for Robin all around actually.
And to Sam for being freaking AWESOME and playing cards, chess, catch the starburst, pingpong-starburst, Robot Wars with the Buddig Carts, showing me Ask a Ninja and watching Firefly with me at 3 in the morning because I'm an idiot and don't know when to go to sleep when I should. Just, all around awesomeness there. (and, hah, finding random guys sleeping in the lounges is always interesting...um, yeah. ^_^ )
Had two little movie nights since everyone got back. One for The Boondock Saints and the other for RENT. I'd forgotten what it's like to watch movies with some of these people. ^_^;; Robin, Sam, Veronica, Michael, Bryan and Gabby were there. But Michael and Bryan.... So freaking critical. (Boys, they are Irish Catholic. That's all you need to know. Get over it!) And also Kingdom of Heaven with Gabby and Michael, but I didn't really get to pay attention to that because I was running around doing RA stuff. (omg, RCRs are HELL).
I am so teaching Sam and Michael how to spin rifle. ^_^ There will be no use resisting. (I think Michael's getting sick of seeing my guard DVD though ^_^;;.)
And classes start tommorrw! So excited! And the building hasn't burnded down while I'm on duty! Awesome!
