What the fuck, y'all
Alright, I'm just gonna come out and address this, because it took tech support half an hour by phone with me, and then another half an hour on their end while I waited, to get my net back up and running.
The guy at tech support walked me through the command prompt thing, and we literally programmed in to force a reset on my IP number, which appeared to work, but after I restarted my laptop as instructed, it had been refused. He was suspicious when the issue had to be elevated to a problem ticket, and when it took them only half an hour to fix it, I knew something was rotten in Denmark, this has never happened before.
As soon as I was back up and running, motorcityxlove, sonicvenom and I spoke to our good friend Adam, whom is the second of two Adams we know, and since he is Jewish, goes by the nickname of Jew. Jew is a VERY skilled computer nerd that has always answered my questions bluntly and honestly.
Someone tried to put my IP out of commission. While they attempted to gain access to my personal files on my hard drive, and my e-mail. An angry Jew is not one you want to be around, especially when it's directed at you. He's livid, sonicvenom is apoplectic, and I am seething.
To the person that did this, I have no idea how you sleep at night, going so far as to nearly fry my laptop and completely knocking out my net for over an hour, just so you could attempt to access my personal files. I don't know what you think you're going to find, but you obviously failed. Glad to know I'm worth stalking, that I'm worth all that failed effort. Dunno why it matters so much what I have saved on my hard drive, but I sincerely wish you'd find a life, a hobby, and get laid.
