i'm working late on a project that's been difficult from start to finish in one hundred different ways. we've been working all day today and now, technically, it's tomorrow. i have to have the spot on tape at 2 networks at 10am. so the clock is ticking. it's an hd project so that just slows everything down. and tonight, about a half hour ago, the cg supervisor that i'm working with has decided to take his frustrations out on me. he asked me why i don't have respect for him and what my problem is. completely inappropriate. and after he spat his words at me for a few minutes, i told him so. i said, calmly and with a shaky voice, i really don't think this is the right time to be talking about this...when we're pulling the shots together and trying to look at the final spot. i was shocked by his unprofessionalism. of course i can't help but wondering, have i been denying him respect? i was quite shocked. and frankly, just want to give him a swift kick in the nuts. and still do.
