Name: Max Age: 21 Location: Oregon right now (California during the school year) Top Played Songs: Top 10 says my iTunes (seems right) "The Bitch of Living" from Spring Awakening, Beethoven Symphony #9 Molto Vivace, "If It Kills Me" by Jason Mraz, "Umbrella" cover by Scott Simons, "Plane" by Jason Mraz, "A Postcard to Henry Purcell" from the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice (2005), "Call It Off" by Tegan and Sara, "Grace Kelly" by Mika, "Now" by Mates of State, "Follow Your Heart" from Urinetown, "Say It to Me Now" by Glen Hansard Fandoms I Love: Arrested Development, Glee! (it's fated, right?), Gossip Girl, Greek, Grey's Anatomy, Harry Potter, Lie to Me, Mad Men, Merlin, The O.C., The Office, Rome, Skins, Supernatural, Twilight, Veronica Mars, Weeds, The West Wing Anything Else?: There is no irony in show choir! Let's be friends.
I think we need to discuss something though: I really enjoy Billy Elliot the musical and, as on your userinfo, you love Next to Normal, I think we're going to be vying for different winners at the Tonys.
Also on that, I'm having some trouble getting into N2N... my mom is bipolar, so it might just be that it hits too close to home... don't hate me please, just teach me what has everyone in love with this musical, because I don't want to miss it. Have you seen it? I'm wondering if it doesn't get exponentially better with actually seeing it.
I'm going to warn you, right now, I'm sick so this probably won't make sense at all. And, I still live with my parents and I got my mother sick, and she's kind of bitching at me right now. So, be prepared if I go into a pointless ramble that makes no sense and makes me look like a moron
( ... )
I'm sorry your sick! I hate being sick in the spring! You definitely don't sound like a douche. :)
I've listened all the way through the N2N score twice. I actually really, really like "Everything Else" and "Superboy and the Invisible Girl" (from the daughter's POV, haha). Beyond the closeness issue, I find Alice Ripley's voice a little annoying (although the whole cast is incredibly talented) and I'm distractingly confused about what's going on with Gabe's character.
