The best I can give you is that it's not any of the more common illnesses we've seen... unfortunately, that doesn't narrow the field as much as we'd like.

A relative would be able to provide the most accurate medical history for us. And if his liver gets any worse...

And-- I hate to have to... He's going to need a transfusion at the least-- which shouldn't be a problem, as we do have a reasonable donated supply. But... we need to be prepared in case his liver function doesn't improve. Do you know if there would be anyone willing to be tested as a possible donor?
