Had dinner with my girls. Eeeeeeuwww. I sound so...so...I don't know.
So, okay. Let's replace it with "my favourite people". So three exams down. Woooo! But out of the three, I knew I sucked at Political Law. I think it was expected, because everyone else felt the same way...
Or almost like it.
After the exams, the boys were singing the first lines of "Just Once."
"I did my best, but I guess my best wasn't good enough..."
The first one was at Shakeys'. After the Statutory Construction exam. We were all discussing our answers outside the exam room, and I even heard a guy shout over his mobile phone, "Dammit, you're telling me I'm WRONG?! When we've done this review OVER AND OVER AGAIN!"
Well, to explain, we weren't the only class who had the exam.
Law and Values. Not as bad as I have feared, but still...caution is still needed. I think a lawyer's life is full of trick questions, and that politics is a Pandora's box.
Let's make it a big one.
It has been a report that as of last year, THE SENATE HAS NOT PASSED ANY BILLS AT ALL.
Oooh. Lovely. And yes. My words in this sentence are laced with sarcasm.
It's strange that they've made a media circus out of every political controversy, most notable being the Gloriagate "Hello Garci" tape, and then, bang. They haven't done their responsibility at all. They've made probes about every political issue, and they have not passed any bills at all. They're seriously...lacking in work ethics. I don't want to say anything libellous.
May the farce be with you.
Meanwhile, let's go note-whoring. Yes, another instance of being juvenile. Huzzah.
I consider Ace, Nikki and Bea as my little sisters. They have written me notes during the summer. Unfortunately some are missing...my other notes were in another wallet, which unfortunately, was stolen. So those that were salvaged were scanned Monday this week. One note is from Divine, whose father was the church's associate pastor. She's one of the bassists of the worship band.
