Rip Out my Heart
God rip out my heart
And shred it too pieces
It was killed by one
Wanted by another
But mended by someone new
God rip out these lungs
That gives me life
Fill them with carbon dioxide
And let me fall
To this hard cold earth
God rip off these hands
So I may not touch
Another soul
And destroy it
With this curse of mine
God rip out these eyes
For that I may not see
The love that people show me
For I do not deserve
Their kindness and hope
God rip out this soul
So that I can live
To regret another mistake
And hurt someone else
And make another cry
