To be honest, I find it difficult to comment on your fics sometimes, because of being so involved in the process ;) I watch them as they grow, they are too close to me!

I love a lot about this first chapter - I love the tenderness of the threesome's relationship, and how you show it continually as loving and kind. I love the comedy of Zuko-the-Drama-Queen and Mai-the-Dry-Wit, but also of Katara-I'm-Dealing-With-Idiots-Again-But-I-Love-Them-So-Will-Let-It-Slide ;) and perhaps most of all, I love the secondary characters (or rather, your way of writing them). Ozai makes for some exquisite comedic material, doesn't he. And I love all the world-building that has gone into this, the detail and the characterisations and the secondary ships. It's adorable.

Aang's absence doesn't hurt.

“Nobody will suspect a waterbender to have created a storm,” Sokka agreed pleasantly. “Dad might be inconsolable, though.”

AWWWWW. Also, your Sokka sounds like himself, which is a definite plus. YAY.

As to Zuko, I'm not even sure which of his freakouts is my favourite, but I guess the bit where he decides that OMG ASCENSION WHAT IF THEY GROW UP CRAZY POWER HUNGRY MONSTAHS might be it.

I like how well Mai and Katara know Zuko and are able to handle him with minimal fuss.

And finally, I really like the sex, adorable and sweet as it is. Watery sexuashun is, as you know, completely *_____________*, as is the sleepy kind.
